Las Vegas Convention Names Bytox as a product that consistently works

Hangover Relief: At the Nightclub and Bar Show there were almost as many hangover prevention and cure products as there were alcohol brands. Helping people who overindulge dodge the pain and suffering the next day is becoming big business and there were a myriad of companies all trying to come at the problem differently. The most notable products in the space include Bytox Hangover Prevention Patch, one of the few products that we’ve tried that consistently works. The Hangover: Getting Over the Bad Side of a Good Night

AIN’T NO FUN IF THE HOMIES FEEL LIKE THEY DIED THE NEXT DAY

We’ve heard it all before: Just have another drink! Take two Tylenol! Bite into a piece of ginger with a side of coffee while taking a nice hot bath. The truth is: the best way to ease your hangover is to stop it before it starts.  Barring the painfully obvious solution of simply knowing your limits, there are some preventative measures you can take to alleviate the symptoms of a hangover.

-Drink as much water as possible. Alcohol is a diuretic, so all of those rushed trips to the bathroom weren’t just about debriefing your friends or escaping your date but more so about dehydrating your system. Stagnate your drinks with glasses of water and it’ll reduce the pain of that all too familiar headache in the morning.

-Sustenance! Food provides a cushion in your intestines that slows down the effects of alcohol.

Review – Bytox Hangover Prevention Remedy Patch

by: A History of Drinking

Editor’s Note: We recently received some samples of the Bytox anti-hangover patches and wanted to give the a proper try-out. Now being that I’m currently “trading-paint” with forty years of age, I decided to let our new A History of Drinking college intern, Ashleigh give them the torture test. Here’s her account below:

I recently used one on my 22nd birthday and since my 21st birthday was awful I knew I had to do this one up good. I unfortunately had a final the next day so I was putting all my hope in this patch in order to wake up and be able to function the next day.

From what I can remember I had a margarita, 4 beers, 3 shots, and 2 mixed drinks throughout the course of the night. This night was the first night in a while that I actually blacked out a little bit, but, somehow managed to set my alarm and wake up in the morning, which was a miracle.

I went ahead and left the patch on for the majority of the next day and did not feel like I was going to be sick at all and surprisingly, I did not even have a headache. I would recommend these patches if you want to go “balls to the wall” and get wasted or if you just want to wake up the next morning not feeling like hell on earth and need to be a functioning adult! The patches work wonderfully.

Editor’s note (again): We here at AHod advise all of our drinkers to drink responsibly…

Hangover Cures Myth or Reality? Independent investigation on Bytox revealed

On December 22, 2011 DigBoston.com posted the following story.

LUPEC: ALL I WANT FOR XMAS IS TO STOP HURTING

LU_HangoverEraser

Hangover cures: myth or reality?

Experience has taught us that there is no cure for a lack of self control. When you have a Fernet-drinking contest with yourself or polish off a bowl of something labeled “Blackout Punch,” that way danger lies.

Thus, we were skeptical of the publicist’s pitch that promised us a “special hangover remedy carefully marketed it in an easy-to-use, safe patch.” What was the secret, snake oil and unicorn tears? Or some blend chemicals that would cause cancer sometime down the road? And really, do these people understand how much we drink?

Cursory investigation revealed this cure, Bytox, to be nothing more than a time-release patch designed to replenish the vitamins and nutrients the body loses when consuming mass quantities of alcohol. That we had to try, if for no other reason than to pass the good word of this magic patch on to you should it work. Our civic duty.

We enlisted a dozen drinkers on two separate occasions to test this wonder. In the name of research they mixing blackout punch with champagne with beer with fernet and with wine. Very few made it through the night without some grey, hazy patches.

And the patch totally worked.

Several drinkers polled still felt rough the next day, probably because like most drunk people, they failed to follow the instructions. But if the physical symptoms of the hangover weren’t totally absent, in each case they were reduced. The metaphysical symptoms—the post drunk shame spiral that prompts a barrage of texts apologizing for blacking out and not paying the tab only to realise that you actually picked up the tab for the entire bar—well, that’s another story.

In short, Bytox is a not-scary, vitamin-based hangover cure that works. But if you misplace your dignity and self respect while imbibing, well there’s no magic patch for that. Sip on one of these before setting out to find them.

WARNING: Consumption of alcohol may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter and more handsome than some really, really big guy named FRANZ.

WARNING: Consumption of alcohol may lead you to believe that ex-lovers are really dying for you to telephone them at four in the morning.

WARNING: Consumption of alcohol may actually CAUSE pregnancy.

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may make you think you can logically converse with members of the opposite sex without spitting.

The Most Expensive Alcoholic Beverages in the World

At Bytox, we appreciate a fun night out – but sometimes we don’t appreciate the impact it can have on our bank accounts.  But if you think that those $16 martinis are bad enough, take a look at what we found on the most expensive alcoholic beverages in the world!

First up is the king of all expensive alcoholic beverages – the Henri IV Dudognon Heritage, a bottle of some of the world’s finest and most expensive champagne.  From France’s prestigious Cognac Grande Champagne region, which is unparalleled by any other region for producing amazing champagne, this champagne has been aged for over 100 years.

One would think that having 100-year-old champagne would be luxurious enough, but apparently the manufacturers were not satisfied – this champagne is kept in a 24 karat gold and platinum silver decanter, which is decorated with exquisitely cut diamonds.  What should you expect to shell out if you wanted to buy yourself a bottle of this champagne? Try a whopping $1.9 million.  At this price, you can expect that only the mega-wealthy will be sampling Henri IV Dudognon Heritage.

Do your tastes tend to favor alcoholic beverages that are produced more south of the border?  Then try Tequila Ley .925, which is easily the world’s most expensive tequila.  The Tequila Ley .925, which is valued at over $1.3 million, is so expensive due to the jaw-dropping bottle that it’s kept in – try a flask made entirely of 6,000 cut diamonds.

Of course, no list of alcoholic beverages would be complete without vodka – and there’s definitely lots of competition for the most expensive vodka available.  However, nothing stands out like DIVA Premium Vodka, which is distilled using the kinds of precious gems usually reserved for fine jewelry.  Each bottle of DIVA Premium Vodka is decorated with a different type of precious stone – so a bottle could set you back anywhere from $4000 to $1 million, depending on your preference.  With a price tag equivalent to the purchase price of a mansion in some parts of the world, its no wonder that this company caters strictly to the fabulously wealthy.

After conducting this research, we’ve definitely decided that not only is alcohol one of the most expensive habits out there, but how much you spend on it is all about perspective.

But no matter how much you spend on your drinks, make sure you put on your Bytox patch before you go out – nothing would be worse than regretting those expensive drinks you just purchased!

Shocking Celeb News: Justin Bieber Fathered a Child in a Drunken Hook-Up?

Whether you consider yourself a Belieber or can’t stand the sight of the Canadian pop superstar, there’s no denying that Justin Bieber tends to be a constant fixture on the entertainment news circuit.  Usually he makes the news due to his wholesome image, his pop songs or cavorting with his girlfriend, Disney star Selena Gomez.  However, in a shocking turn of events, the Bieber has made headlines due to alleged drunken incidents.

Mariah Yeater, 20, has filed a lawsuit against Justin Bieber – and her reason behind the suit can be summed up in the form of her 3-month-old son.  In her lawsuit papers, Yeater claims that Bieber is the father of her son, and is demanding his DNA to determine paternity of her child.  Naturally, Bieber has denied these allegations, and is even filing a countersuit against Yeater for defamation of character.

Yeater claims that Bieber’s bodyguards invited her backstage to meet the pop star at a concert.  When she got back there, Bieber allegedly told her she was pretty, and started to ply her with drinks.  Soon, the two were drunk, and they engaged in sexual intercourse.

Bieber fans are already up in arms about the claims, and have taken to Twitter to defend their celebrity crush.  Yeater’s family has also reported that death threats have been made against the mother.

We’ll be interested to see the outcome of this whole trial.  Although we’re certain that Bieber didn’t knock up Yeater, we can still make the following recommendations: don’t invite crazy fans backstage.  Ever.  And especially don’t do it when you’re drunk!

Could Drinking Be To Blame For Kim Kardashian’s Recent Divorce?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you’ve probably heard that Kim Kardashian and her husband of a whopping 72 days, Kris Humphries, are on the fast-path to divorce.  While the ubiquitous reality star cited “irreconcilable differences” on the legal papers, the Hollywood rumor mill is quick to point out the real reason why the two divorced: Kris’ constant partying and drinking.

Frequently seen living it up on the Miami and New York party circuit, gossip mags were quick to claim that his drinking quickly got on Kim’s nerves.  While the fame-hungry Kardashian was busy filming her reality series and launching her clothing line with her sisters, Kris could be seen chugging drinks and flirty with pretty women at the most exclusive clubs in the biggest cities.  It’s reported that Kris’ inability to work – as a result of the NBA lockout – started making Kim worry that he was going to party the night away.  And while she doesn’t have scruples about putting her image out there (in more ways than one), she apparently does have scruples about partying and drinking too much.

Here at Bytox, we have some advice for the soon-to-be-single Kris – you definitely lucked out here.  So grab a drink, slap on a Bytox patch to eliminate your hangovers and salute your return to bachelorhood and freedom.

Now we only wish that Bytox cured the hangover that results from seeing too much of the Kardashians in our Facebook feeds and news!

Bytox Celebrity News: Your Favorite Stars Caught Drunk

Bytox Celebrity News: Your Favorite Stars Caught Drunk

These days, it seems as though the biggest actors and actresses are finding their biggest roles involve stumbling out of the hottest nightclubs.  While we’re all for having a great time, we can’t help but think that maybe a Bytox patch would have helped these stars, most of which have been caught in recent weeks acting like drunk messes in public:

  1. Shia LeBeouf: He may be the star in one of the biggest odes to CGI of all time (“Transformers”), but that doesn’t mean Mr. LeBeouf can fight his way out of a drunken paper bag.  Just a few days ago, Shia was caught up in a public brawl on a sidewalk in Los Angeles with a shirtless heckler.  If you placed your bets on the shirtless dude, collect your winnings now.

  2.  Sandra Lee: She’s a staple on the Food Network, and she’s famous for making the kind of alcoholic beverages that even kids would want to partake in (“Drunk Root Beer”, anyone?).  But during the outtakes in her recent Halloween-themed episode, it’s clear to see that Ms. Lee was sampling the sauce – and not the kind in her semi-homemade pasta recipes.

  3.  Tara Reid:  Sure, we may be using the celebrity term loosely here – but when there’s drunk celebrity news to be had, you can be sure America’s favorite alcoholic will be there.  TMZ recently caught footage of a very incoherent Tara confessing that her marriage to Greek businessman was a sham.  Nothing goes great with a morning hangover like a serious dose of regret!

If you don’t want to end up like your favorite celebrities, then we recommend using Bytox – the ultimate hangover remedy patch in the industry today.

Bytox is a specially-formulated hangover remedy patch that effectively replenishes the vital levels of vitamins and acids lost when you consume alcohol.  By enhancing and restoring your body’s natural levels, Bytox reduces the physical effects of alcohol consumption.  And as Bytox is in patch form, there’s literally no hassle involved in getting rid of your hangover – just stick it on and get ready to enjoy the night of your life.

Hangover Tips in Time for Halloween

With Halloween quickly approaching, it’s time to buckle down and get ready to celebrate one of the biggest parties of the year.  But before you start imbibing in your Halloween beverages of choice, sit back and read these hangover tips – they’ll save you from feeling like you got more tricks than treats!

  1. Avoid mixed punch bowls.  Sure, serving up alcoholic beverages in a themed Halloween bowl is a fun party touch – but if you want to avoid a hangover, it’s best to steer clear of beverages where you don’t know how much has gone into it.  Make your own drinks or, if you’re out at a bar or club, watch the bartender make your drink so you know exactly how much you’re consuming.
  2.  Eat lots of Halloween treats while you’re out on the town.  If you happen to pick up loads of candy on your night out, don’t feel bad about eating a few – the fats in candy have been proven to help your body pass alcohol faster, leaving you with a hangover-free morning.  Just don’t fill up on candies that are made of 100% sugar, as these can make you feel drunker faster.
  3.  Avoid spooky drinks that are made with darker liquors.  Studies have shown that darker liquors have more congeners than lighter liquors – and when it comes to causing hangovers, you can definitely point a witch’s finger at congeners.  Choose drinks that have been made with lighter spirits, and you won’t feel like a monster when you wake up in the morning.

Finally, stay hydrated throughout the entire Halloween evening.  Between your alcoholic beverages and sweet treats, you’ll need plenty of water to keep your hangover at bay.  Be sure to alternate your alcoholic beverages with water or an electrolyte-heavy sports drink  – your hangover-free body will thank you for it in the morning.

If you want to enjoy a hangover-free Halloween holiday, there’s only one hassle-free solution that’s been proven to work: Bytox.

Bytox is a specially-formulated hangover remedy patch that effectively replenishes the vital levels of vitamins and acids lost when you consume alcohol.  By enhancing and restoring your body’s natural levels, Bytox reduces the physical effects of alcohol consumption.  And as Bytox is in patch form, there’s literally no hassle involved in getting rid of your hangover – just stick it on and get ready to enjoy a terrifyingly fun Halloween evening!

Hangover News: Utah Theater Fined For Showing Hangover 2

Here at Bytox, we pride ourselves on helping our clients enjoy nights out without suffering from hangover consequences in the morning.  That’s why whenever we encounter hangover news, we can’t help but wonder if the consequences would be a bit different if a Bytox patch was involved – like this story straight out of Utah.

A movie theater in Salt Lake City was recently fined $1,600 for showing “Hangover 2” – despite the fact that they have a liquor license.

According to local sources, the movie theater was fined due to a strange state law which insists that any establishments that display nudity are not allowed to serve alcohol.  Therefore, the movie theater, which only admits 21-year-olds to the establishment, was fined because “Hangover 2” features full-front female and male nudity, and even a few appearances from a transvestite.

The law was originally designed to help keep strip clubs in check, although because the movie theater has  a liquor license, they came under fire from the state liquor board in late September.  Patrons and owners of the movie theater are up in arms about the fine and planning to appeal to the board.

At Bytox, we find it a bit strange that the state liquor board would focus its energy on fining a movie theater, rather than focusing on strip clubs, where the law would undoubtedly have more of an effective.  But regardless, the “Hangover 2” is harmless fun – we think the state liquor board should slap on a Bytox patch, have a few beers and enjoy themselves!

Hangover Cures to Honor “Bridesmaids”

There’s no denying that “Bridesmaids” has been the smash hit of the year – and in honor of the movie being released on DVD, Bytox is ready to celebrate with our own hangover cures.  Whether you’re set to have a night out with your own bridesmaids or are planning a big girls night in complete with a bottle of wine and the DVD, these hangover cures will guarantee that the party won’t stop when you wake up in the morning.

  1. Slap on a Bytox patch before you start the festivities.  Bytox is a special hangover remedy patch that can be applied anywhere on the body.  Once applied, the patch emits a special blend of vitamins and minerals that help to keep the body nourished as you drink.  Since hangovers are caused by depleted nutrition levels in the body, Bytox ensures that you won’t wake up with a hangover after a night of your own wacky adventures.

  1. If you’re out on the town with your bridesmaids, make sure you don’t drink dark liquor.  Dark liquor has been shown to have a greater number of congeners, which is directly responsible for those awful hangover headaches and nausea you experience after a night of drinking.  Stick to white wines, vodka and gin for a hangover-free morning.

  1. Whether you’re making the trip to Vegas or having your own hometown bachelorette party, make like the “Bridesmaids” crew and fill up on a fatty meal beforehand.  Fats help your body to pass alcohol faster than carbohydrates, which means you’ll be able to drink more without risking a massive hangover in the morning.  Just make sure you don’t fill up on Brazilian meats – we all know the disgusting consequences of that move!

No matter what your night has in store for you, make sure that you meet your “Bridesmaids” adventures head-on with good friends, good food and a Bytox patch!

Celebrity Drunks Who Could Use a Bytox Patch

There’s nothing worse than then having an awful picture of yourself posted on Facebook in the midst of a party – but when it comes to celebrity drunks, we think they could use a helping hand or two in avoiding looking like they’re constantly coming from a bar.  From proud celebrity alcoholics to starlet train wrecks, here are the celebrity drunks who could use a Bytox patch – or five!

Charlie Sheen – Okay, let’s face it: 2011 will forever be the year of the meltdown for Charlie Sheen.  From coining the not-so-cool word of “winning” to suffering from public humiliation during his one-man “comedy” show (although we suspect he doesn’t realize we were all laughing at him), Charlie Sheen is a celebrity drunk who revels in the fact that he looks perpetually hung over.  Perhaps a few Bytox patches would make him look normal again – although we’re certain Bytox doesn’t cure the inability to keep his mouth shut.
Lindsay Lohan – You knew she was going to end up on this list, and for good reason – the girl is a straight-up drunk.  As an actress who hasn’t had a job in years, her main occupation seems to be stumbling out of bars and courtrooms looking like a mess.  We suggest that if she doesn’t want to check into rehab, she should try out the Bytox patch to eliminate the paparazzi photos of her looking like one big hungover mess.
Courtney LoveIt seems like Courtney Love is always in the news for being a drunk.  As the once-talented lead singer of rock band Hole, Love seems to have found another profession: drinking.  Whether she’s stumbling out of a bar or just acting bizarre at an awards show, we’d recommend a Bytox patch if we weren’t so positive that she was on something a little stronger than alcohol.

So how can Bytox help these celebrity drunks from looking like a mess in front of the paparazzi?

Bytox is a specially-formulated hangover remedy patch that effectively replenishes the vital levels of vitamins and acids lost when you consume alcohol.  By enhancing and restoring your body’s natural levels, Bytox reduces the physical effects of alcohol consumption.  And as Bytox is in patch form, there’s literally no hassle involved in getting rid of your hangover – just stick it on and get ready to enjoy a hangover-free morning.

Whether you’re a celebrity or just a nightlife aficionado, slap on a Bytox patch to prevent last night from bringing on a painful morning.

Hangover Tips

Put on a hangover remedy patch like Bytox before you head out on the town, as it will prevent you from experiencing a hangover. But in case you didn’t and are now suffering from a hangover here is a list of hangover cures and remedies.

Fill up on fatty foods before you drink – fats absorb alcohol faster, leaving you with a hangover-free morning.

Pop a multi-vitamin before your night out, as it replenishes nutrients lost during a night of drinking.

Eat a tablespoon of olive oil before heading out for the night, as studies indicate it can relieve hangovers.

Be positive – studies have indicated that positive people tend to have fewer hangovers than people with a pessimistic outlook on life.

Alternate your alcoholic beverages with water, as hangovers occur when your body is dehydrated.

Avoid drinking coffee during a hangover, as caffeine can actually make your hangover symptoms worse.

If you forgot to drink water during your night out, guzzle a big glass of water before you go to bed to ease the intensity of your hangover in the morning.

Drink milk before you head to bed, as studies indicate that milk coats the stomach and helps pass along alcohol faster.

Take a multi-vitamin as soon as you wake up in the morning; your hangover will disappear quickly.

Never drink on an empty stomach – you’ll get drunk faster, and you’ll have a terrible hangover in the morning.

Pick your alcoholic beverage wisely: darker colored drinks will give you worse hangovers than lighter colored drinks.

Don’t mix your alcoholic beverages: sticking to one type of drink can help reduce the severity of your hangover in the morning.

Avoid drinks with a high congener count, like red wine and rum, which is the by-product of alcohol fermentation.

Pace yourself for a hangover-free morning: women can have one beer every hour, while men can get away with two.

Avoid taking Tylenol to soothe your hangover: acetaminophen can actually harm your liver.

Don’t take pain relievers for your hangover, as these are processed in the liver – and since your liver is already stressed, you could end up causing some serious damage.

Drinking alcohol to get rid of a hangover only avoids the inevitable – not to mention is a slippery slope to an alcohol dependency problem.

Hangovers happen when your blood alcohol content reaches zero – so if you rely on “hair of the dog” methods, you’re only delaying the inevitable.

Want to get rid of hangover nausea without harming your liver with pain relievers? Take a medication that coats your stomach, like Pepto Bismal.

Avoid carbohydrates to get rid of a hangover – these can actually cause a spike in your blood sugar, resulting in a more painful hangover.

The perfect hangover breakfast is high in fats, so pick bacon and fried eggs over pancakes – your hangover-free body will thank you for it!

Grab an extra hour of sleep if you can – hangovers feel worse when you haven’t clocked in enough rest.

When in doubt, choose a lighter-colored alcoholic beverage, as this won’t give you a bad hangover in the morning.

Avoid caffeine in your alcoholic beverages, as this can increase the dehydration effect of alcohol.

Alternate from alcoholic beverages to an electrolyte-packed sports drink, like Gatorade.

Keep a bottle of Pedialyte in your fridge for hangovers – it’s packed with the kind of nutrients that stop hangovers in their tracks.

For a night out, stick to beer – it’s less likely to give you a hangover than mixed drinks, as it’s made with more water.

Eat during your night out. Every bar stocks chips and nuts, so grab a handful if you feel like you’ve indulged too much.

Forgo inexpensive alcohols, as cheaper-quality beverages can lead to worse hangovers.

Sneaking a cigarette during a night out can lead to a nasty hangover, as it robs your body of the oxygen it needs to pass around much-needed nutrition.

Pace yourself during a night out, as slowing down your consumption can help eliminate any hangover potential.

Never mix pain killers and alcohol, as this can be a potentially lethal combination.

Keep a bottle of water by your bedside – as soon as you wake up in the morning, you should chug it to alleviate any hangover symptoms.

Can’t face the thought of swallowing vitamins when your stomach is queasy? Try a hangover remedy patch like Bytox, which delivers much-needed nutrition to your body in an easy-to-use patch form.

If you want to wake up hangover-free, stop drinking at least an hour before you head to bed, as this gives your body time to process a majority of the alcohol you’ve consumed.

Chug a glass of orange juice, as studies have indicated that vitamin C can speed up your body’s ability to process alcohol.

Hate orange juice? Opt for apple juice, as this can be equally effective at helping your body process alcohol.

Eat something before you head to bed – make sure it’s extra fatty, as the fats will help your body process alcohol faster for a hangover-free morning.

Don’t fall for the “eat bread” hangover cure – studies have shown that eating too many carbs can actually make your hangover symptoms worse.

Don’t want to deal with your hangover symptoms? Sleep it off – sometimes the most effective hangover cure is a morning spent under the covers.

Forgo coffee in favor of green tea, as research has shown that green tea can help alleviate your worst hangover symptoms.

If you’re feeling nauseous in the morning after a particularly heavy night out, drink a carbonated beverage like ginger ale.

If it’s been some time since you’ve had a drink, take ibuprofen to get rid of a hangover headache. It’s a much safer option than acetaminophen and aspirin.

Alternate between hot and cold water when you shower – hot water opens up your pores, while cold water can help you shake off any hangover fatigue.

If you feel up to it, go for a walk – exercise can help alleviate hangover symptoms.

Eat tons of fruits and veggies, as these nutrient-loaded foods contain the vitamins, minerals and water you need to replenish your body.

Get into a sauna and sweat the alcohol out of your system – it’s an old hangover cure that’s often used in Russia, the birthplace of vodka.

Roll out of bed and do some yoga poses – getting the blood flowing is key to eliminating your hangover.

Take a hangover bath – add a pinch of wasabi to warm bathwater, and soak for twenty minutes to feel like your old self again.

Massage your temples with your fingertips to relieve a hangover headache.

Give yourself a head, neck and shoulder massage to get rid of hangover tension and aches – bonus points if you can get someone else to do it for you.

Stock up on fruit juice, which can help get rid of a hangover in the morning. Be sure that your fruit juice is made of 50% real fruit for maximum impact.

Keep some carbonated sodas in your fridge (ginger ale is your best bet) to alleviate hangover nausea and a queasy stomach.

While drinking water is the key to hangover relief, a sports drink can provide you with maximum hangover relief, as it’s loaded with vitamins, minerals and other vital nutrients.

Not feeling up to a fatty breakfast? Munch on saltine crackers instead; studies have shown that crackers are much gentler on an upset stomach.

If you can manage it, cook up a batch of whole grain rice – the whole grains help fill up the stomach without upsetting it.

Cysteine is an important enzyme that helps process alcohol – and you can find it in eggs. Scramble them, fry them or boil them – either way, you’ll be feeling back to your normal self again in no time.

Opt for a plate of asparagus before a night out, as these veggies can help ward off painful hangovers.

Eat a banana before going out; as potassium can help you avoid a hangover.

Before you head to bed, grab a banana and eat up – you’ll be feeling hangover-free in the morning.

Chicken soup isn’t just for colds – it’s also a great hangover food that will make your body fighting fit in no time.

If you can stomach it, fill up on a BLT – the combination of proteins and carbs will make your hangover a thing of the past.

Eat a banana first thing in the morning; you’ll be feeling hangover-free in just a few minutes.

Grab a blender and mix one raw egg with orange juice – it’s a hangover-cure that many people swear by.

Many spices, like cumin, are crucial to getting rid of a hangover. Sprinkle it on your eggs in the morning for a hangover-free afternoon.

If you have milk thistle supplements hanging around, take some before heading to bed to ward off any hangovers.

Pickles are great for relieving hangovers – eat a few or drink pickle juice to get yourself back on track.

If you have ginseng pills lying around, take one – these supplements can help you process alcohol faster.

Eat a few teaspoons of honey every twenty minutes to help alleviate a hangover.

Eat almonds before heading out on the town – it’s an old Native American cure that prevents hangovers.

The worst offender that will cause massive hangovers is brandy – avoid it at all costs!

Prefer to drink wine? Opt for white over red, as the latter contains more hangover-inducing congeners.

Take plenty of B vitamins when you wake up in the morning, as research has shown that it can help alleviate a hangover faster.

Peppermint tea can help get rid of nausea, so drink up to get rid of one of your worst hangover symptoms.

Combine a banana, a drizzle of honey, non-fat yogurt and ice cubes in a blender for a super-smoothie that blasts away hangover symptoms.

Research has shown that getting busy can help with hangover symptoms – so if you have a partner suffering along with you, you know what to do.

Honey tea is a great hangover remedy, so boil up a pot and get drinking to feel instant relief.

Garlic is a great food to eat before you head out for a night on the town.

For a double dose of hangover-fighting power, combine olive oil with minced garlic, and dip warm pieces of bread in them.

While out drinking, make sure you avoid the foods with salt, as this will increase the alcohol’s dehydration effects.

If you’re going for stronger alcohol, be smart and mix it with fruity beverages like orange juice.

Stay awake for as long as possible after a night out of drinking, and spend that time drinking tons of water.

Need to know how much water to drink after a big night out? Drink half a pint of water for every pint of liquor (it’s a lot of water!).

Boiled eggs are a great food to have when you wake up with a hangover, as eggs help the body to get rid of alcohol faster.

Milkshakes are also a great anti-hangover cure – pick one up during your late-night stop for junk food, and you’ll feel great in the morning.

Make yourself a bacon sandwich in the morning: cook up a few strips of bacon, slap them on a toasted bagel, add cheese and ketchup, and dig in.

Hangovers disappear when you sweat out the booze – so bundle up, go for a short jog and watch in amazement as you start to feel better.

If you’re mixing your hard alcohol with cola, avoid diet options, as the artificial sweeteners can cause your body to absorb alcohol faster, leading to worse hangovers.

If you feel like you’re about to purge, go ahead and do it before you hit the sheets. You’ll feel much better for it in the morning.

Drink a glass of Pedialyte before you head to bed after a night out on the town.

Keep sports drink by your bedside and chug it when you get home.

Stay awake as long as possible once you get home – and don’t forget to fill that time by chugging a sports drink like Gatorade.

If you end up getting sick from drinking too much, drink plenty of water afterwards.

Opt for the late night fast-food run – fatty foods can help ward off a particularly nasty hangover.

Some of the best hangover foods are fatty bacon, eggs, sausage, and orange juice – so fill up!

Get to know what kind of drinker you are, as different types of alcohol have various effects on people.
